Senior Account Executive

Requirements:

  •  3-5 yr. experience in client management either at a pharma/biotech agency or in-house marketing department; prefer experience working with rare disease brands
  • BA or BS (preferred in Marketing, Communications, or Science)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Team management experience

Our Creative team is looking for a creative and talented UX Designer to join our growing team. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering the best multi-channel user experience for our clients. The UI/UX Designer is an important member of the creative process and plays a pivotal role in the strategy, conception, design, and execution of our client’s brands.

The UX Designer works collaboratively with a project team consisting of Account, Project Management and Creative. RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Creative Developer at Benchworks, you will support the design and technical implementation of email, banner ad, and web programs. Benchworks is a full-service advertising agency with offices in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.  The Account Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to manage and supervise Benchworks client accounts as an extension of the agency’s leader’s scope of direction.  In addition, the account supervisor must demonstrate a commitment and ability to increase technical skills, manage and develop staff, monitor, and control budgets, and cultivate new client opportunities through new business efforts.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relations:

  • Formulate (in conjunction with leadership team), long-term strategies and programs to position clients in a leadership role.
  • Prepare and review all programs, plans, proposals and other major written materials before they are submitted for review
  • Develop innovative programs for clients and expand the existing programs
  • Stay current on client industries through attendance at key functions – trade shows, special events, sales meetings, etc.
  • Create original materials such as features, backgrounders, client briefing papers and industry analysis papers
  • Act as senior leadership liaison with client and maintain two-way communications
  • Engage client in routine communication to anticipate potential problems before they become issues
  • Ensure activities on behalf of clients are executed within budget estimates
  • Manage and facilitate high-level media placements, marketing programs or social media campaigns

Staff Development:

  • Train staff through direct supervision of client engagements and review of the work they perform
  • Provide regular and direct feedback to staff regarding their performance to promote morale and enthusiasm
  • Communicate with the Director or Vice President on a regular basis about individual staff performance
  • Conduct effective and timely staff evaluations at the conclusion of projects and participate in semi-annual evaluation and career counseling sessions, and annual goal setting and planning as requested by the Director or Vice President

Agency Development:

  • Demonstrate the ability to market and sell agency services, and develop a thorough understanding of the services offered by Schneider Associates
  • Identify marketing opportunities created through business and social contacts and participation in industry and civic organizations
  • Expand services provided to existing clients by identifying client needs and gaining client confidence
  • Participate in new business development by assisting Directors and Vice Presidents with new proposal and deck creation as well as presenting to the potential new client
  • Lead RFP responses and pitch presentations for prospective clients

The Project Manager (PM) is primarily responsible for, from concept through completion, the coordination, oversight and resource allocation of projects within scope and budget for executing creative projects – while also supporting the Agency’s strategic/creative marketing and growth initiatives.

Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures, the PM will set/modify deadlines/milestones, lead and direct the work of others while monitoring and reporting the progress of projects to Account Services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively between our internal teams to manage all resources and coordinate all details required to deliver marketing projects on time, on budget and within project scope. In accepting ownership of the project’s success, a wide degree of creativity, problem solving and latitude with trust is expected.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor project agency hours, outside resource and vendor costs against approved budget and reconcile final costs with VP of Production
  • Create accurate project schedules, with team allocations that align with project budget
  • Work with all department leads to develop schedules for integrated projects that sync or overlap accordingly
  • Track/monitor job progress, including milestones to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work with all project managers and digital/creative department heads to balance workloads of cross-functional team based on team member bandwidth, capability and client project priorities
  • Monitor utilization rates of creative and digital staff with collective project managers to optimize productivity and efficiency of resources.
  • Identify and clearly communicate project resource risks to digital/creative department heads in a timely manner
  • Assist digital/creative department heads with outside resource management, including providing needed graphic standards, creative briefs and project requirements
  • Manage expectations collaboratively with digital, creative, media, account services and production departments
  • Proactively anticipate and resolve project roadblocks or delays to move projects forward
  • Monitor scope as outlined, flag scope creep and incremental requests to account services.

    • A minimum of 5-8 years proven project management experience at an agency with multi-disciplinary teams
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and management abilities as role will oversee junior project management staff

  • BA in design, marketing, communications, management, or related field
